Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cruz Laime (ranked 3896 p4p, 2864 weight class) and Willie Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Laime kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Chambea. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laime misses with a series of wild punches.
Cruz Laime seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Li takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Laime.

Laime scores with a head kick.

Li bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Laime's head backwards.

It looks like Cruz Laime has been cut.
Li misses with a wild body shot.
Li lands with an overhand left.
Li fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Laime looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Laime throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped

and Li counters by moving into the clinch.
Li tries for a takedown but Laime manages to get underhooks.
Li is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Laime to keep the fight standing.

Li breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Laime throws a head kick that misses.
Laime misses with a double jab.
Li drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Laime defends it well.
A jab lands there for Li.
Li lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Laime tries to bum rush Li with a series of wild strikes but Li uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Laime is breathing heavily.

Laime is rocked!
Laime throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Oh Laime is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Li closes the distance and lands a brutal uppercut that knocks Laime out! We're looking at the replay now - he was out before he hit the floor!
