And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 1 losses; Archie Oliveira!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Chriss moves in looking to clinch but Oliveira pushes him off.
Oliveira fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chriss avoids it really well and circles away.
Oliveira shoots in looking for a takedown but Chriss manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Oliveira's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Oliveira gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Oliveira prevents a takedown attempt there.
Oliveira ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Oliveira no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Chriss might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Oliveira is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Oliveira is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Chriss frees his head nicely. Oh but Oliveira has switched to an armbar! Chriss is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
