Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Colestein Veglin (ranked 1633 p4p, 3935 weight class) and Eron Saunders (ranked 189 p4p, 233 weight class). Eron Saunders is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 4 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Colestein Veglin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 27 - 23 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eron Saunders! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Veglin tries to clinch up but Saunders circles away and keeps his distance. Saunders is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Saunders takes a swing at Veglin's ribcage but misses. Saunders throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Saunders rushes Veglin and presses him up against the ropes. Saunders breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Good shot there by Veglin. Saunders gets a clinch. We've been informed that Saunders has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Saunders manages to break the clinch.
Veglin throws a lazy body kick and Veglin takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Saunders fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Veglin tries to throw a body punch but Saunders avoids it by throwing Veglin back against the ropes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Saunders lands an elbow that stopped Veglin in his tracks for a moment. Saunders lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. Saunders escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Saunders throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Veglin fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Saunders manages to avoid it. Veglin keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Saunders. A looping hook to the body misses from Saunders. Veglin does a little dance to reset his feet. It looked like Veglin was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Saunders. Veglin misses with a right hand and Saunders counters with a straight right hand. Saunders ducks under a wild hook from Veglin. Saunders feints and then cracks Veglin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Veglin down. Saunders moves into range and connects with a jab. Saunders throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Veglin.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Veglin takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Saunders scores with a nice right hand.

Eron Saunders dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! Veglin attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Colestein Veglin is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Saunders swings for the body but Veglin moves out of range.
Veglin was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Saunders swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Veglin closes the distance and scores with a big combo that sends Saunders crashing to the mat! Saunders uses the ropes to get back to his feet and beat the count. The referee looks concerned but he's going to allow it to continue! Eron Saunders seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Saunders throws a leg kick but Veglin checks it. Saunders moves into the clinch. Saunders has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Saunders lands on the inside with an uppercut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. A frustrated look appears on Veglin's face as he tries to break the clinch. Veglin avoids a wild elbow strike from Saunders. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Veglin as Saunders tries to tie him up. Saunders misses with a body punch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Saunders throws a right and a left that Veglin avoids nicely. Veglin staggers Saunders with a jab and knocks him down with a follow up straight! Saunders looks in trouble, will he beat the count?! The count has reached 5 and he's only back to 1 knee - it's going to be close! 6,7,8 - he's up! Just in time and the ref is going to let the fight continue!
Saunders is rocked! Saunders digs a good hook to Veglin's body.
Saunders is still on wobbly legs! Can Veglin finish him? Saunders has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Saunders misses with a series of wild punches.
It looked like Veglin was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Saunders. Saunders seems to have recovered his senses. A combination from Veglin does no damage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Saunders goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Veglin closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Veglin is looking to clinch but Saunders is avoiding it.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Saunders prevents Veglin from breaking the clinch. A short right hand to the side of the head by Saunders. Saunders lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Saunders breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Veglin throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Saunders sees it coming and avoids it easily. Saunders lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Veglin misses with a double jab
and Saunders connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Veglin throws a wild combination but nothing lands. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Saunders gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Saunders lands a nice elbow. Veglin working hard to break the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Colestein Veglin takes the second round thanks to the knockdowns. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Saunders pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Veglin scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Saunders lands with a nice body punch. Veglin throws a nice looking combination but Saunders bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Veglin fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Saunders tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Veglin's elbow. Nice elbow from Saunders. Saunders works on Veglin's body with a couple of short punches. Saunders stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Saunders lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Saunders throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Veglins head.
Veglin is rocked! Veglin trying to control the position but instead, Saunders has worked for underhooks and has pushed Veglin into the ropes. Oh Veglin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Veglin is trying to break the clinch but Saunders has him pressed against the ropes. Veglin seems to have got his legs back now. Saunders manages to break the clinch.

Eron Saunders seems to be getting the better of the standup. Veglin misses with an uppercut
and Saunders counters with a perfectly timed counter left hook that drops Veglin to the mat, face first! Saunders goes to the neutral corner and waits for the referee to start the count. Veglin is back to hise feet already though and looking to continue the bout! Exciting stuff!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Saunders is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Veglin. Veglin walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch). Eron Saunders! Eron Saunders tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
