The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Mosa with that takedown attempt.
Mosa misses with a head kick.
Mosa definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Mosa keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mosa misses with a kick to the body
and Miocic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Mosa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Miocic can pounce on him.
Miocic moves out of range of the body kick.
Mosa drops his hands momentarily and Miocic takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Mosa gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Miocic makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mosa pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Jon Miocic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice sprawl there from Miocic as Mosa shoots in.

Miocic throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Mosa was covering up waiting for the punch and Miocic finishes the takedown easily into guard.

Miocic decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Mosa gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Miocic digs a good hook to Mosa's body.
The fighters circle momentarily. Miocic darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Miocic fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Oh Mosa is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Mosa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Miocic can pounce on him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Miocic catches Mosa with a right, a left, a right. It's raining punches and Mosa forgot an umbrella! Another punch and he's down. This one is over!
