Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Logan (ranked 2455 p4p, 2736 weight class) and Paulie Gualtieri (ranked 280 p4p, 305 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Logan might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Wizard. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jimmy Logan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paulie Gualtieri!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gualtieri on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Logan. Logan obviously looking to wear him down.
Gualtieri cracks a nice hook into Logan's ribs.
Logan misses the jab.
Logan slips under a jab from Gualtieri.
Gualtieri swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Logan.
Gualtieri misses with a left hand
and Logan counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Logan throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Gualtieri cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Gualtieri drops his hands momentarily and Logan takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Gualtieri misses with a body shot.
Gualtieri lands an overhand right.
Gualtieri throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Logan loads up on a big right hand but Gualtieri slips the punch.
Gualtieri thows a left - swing and a miss!
Logan slips under a jab from Gualtieri.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Gualtieri misses with an uppercut.
Gualtieri feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Logans jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Logan avoids a punch combination nicely.
Logan uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gualtieri.
Logan slips under a jab.
As Gualtieri looks to move away, Logan throws a big counter combo but Gualtieri just gets out of the way.
Gualtieri jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Gualtieri misses with a hook. Logan ducked under it nicely.
Gualtieri takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Gualtieri throws an overhand right that lands on Logan's shoulder, as Logan tries to avoid the shot.
Logan is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Gualtieri.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Gualtieri! But no joy.
Paulie Gualtieri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Logan steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gualtieri.
Logan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Gualtieri connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Logan scrambles back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Gualtieri throws a lazy right hand but Logan sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Logan lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Gualtieri misses with an uppercut
and Logan counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Nice body kick from Logan.
Gualtieri walks into a jab.
Gualtieri is rocked!
Logan fakes the body blow, causing Gualtieri to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Gualtieri goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Jimmy Logan!
