Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tug Violet (ranked 2339 p4p, 2320 weight class) and Jayden Marsh (ranked 273 p4p, 271 weight class). Marsh has chosen Sweet Caroline - Neil Diamond as his entrance music. Jayden Marsh has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tug Violet!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jayden Marsh!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, David Hoff and Sandra Marshall.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marsh tries to close the distance and clinch but Violet swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Violet feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Marsh looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Tug Violet seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Violet misses with a looping left.
Marsh throws out a counter right but Violet avoids it with no problem.
Violet swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Marsh counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Marsh gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A big right from Marsh misses.
Violet misses with a leg kick
and Marsh counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Marsh checks the leg kick.
Marsh throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Violet sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Marsh moves away from the strike by Violet.
Violet motions for Marsh to come forward. Violet throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
A little jabbing left from Marsh on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Violet loads up on a big right hand but Marsh slips the punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Violet fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Nice defenses there by Violet.
Marsh takes one on the button.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Marsh looks to clinch
and Violet counters with a nice uppercut.
Violet pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Marsh back to the cage. Violet follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Violet closes the distance but Marsh moves to the side
and Marsh cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Marsh cracks Violet with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Marsh has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Violet to stand back up!

Violet is rocked!
Violet tries to work over Marsh's front leg with a kick but Marsh checks it.
Violet is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Marsh.
Marsh looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Marsh connects with a superb combination that knocks Violet out cold! The referee charges across the mat and tackles Marsh before he can land any more shots to the unconscious Violet!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jayden Marsh!
