Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Great Tiger (ranked 1964 p4p, 3231 weight class) and Maximillian Herman (ranked 239 p4p, 354 weight class). Maximillian Herman will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Maximillian Herman!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiger misses the shot to the body.
It seemed like Herman was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Tiger misses with a wild body shot.
Herman shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Tiger as he jumps to the side.
Herman slips under a jab from Tiger.
Tiger lands a jab to the nose.
Herman scores with a takedown into Tiger's guard.
Herman throwing strikes from guard but Tiger blocks nicely.
Tiger definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Herman got a little sloppy there for a moment and Tiger has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Herman has managed to get both his arms back between Tiger's legs - danger averted.
Tiger tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Herman must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Herman is looking to work some ground and pound but Tiger has wrist control.
Herman with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Tiger has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Herman doesn't defend quickly enough and Tiger has managed to lock this one up! Can Herman escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Tiger on a fantastic submission victory.
