Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Amaral (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Muerte (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Thiago Muerte! The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Daniel Cesar and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice uppercut lands for Amaral. That snapped Muerte's head back.

Muerte staggers backwards, shaken. Muerte fails in his attempt to clinch. Amaral will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Muerte clinches up with Amaral and pushes him back against the cage. With the fighters up against the cage, Muerte throws an elbow but misses. Muerte tries to pull guard but Amaral holds him up against the cage and eventually Muerte drops back down to his feet.
Amaral is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Muerte tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Amaral's elbow. Amaral is trying to break free. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Muerte takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Amaral wants to break free.
