Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Denis Tetak! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tetak fails in his attempt to clinch. Tetak is looking to clinch. Tetak tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Tetak is looking to clinch but Gomes is avoiding it.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Tetak fails in his attempt to clinch. Gomes feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gomes drops back, looking for a kneebar! Tetak looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Tetak looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Tetak! Gomes is looking to reverse the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gomes can't do much from the bottom here. Gomes is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Tetak's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Gomes is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Tetak pulls his head out easily. Gomes looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
