Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Kane Swizzle (ranked 4042 p4p, 3514 weight class) and Lukas Haley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kane Swizzle has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Kane Swizzle!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Lukas Haley!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Steven Brown and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swizzle misses with an uppercut. Haley saw that one coming.
Haley is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Haley clinches up with Swizzle and pushes him back against the cage.

Swizzle jumps guard and drags Haley to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Swizzle can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Haley controls the pace.
Swizzle is trying to keep Haley in close.
Haley sitting in guard here, content to control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Haley avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Swizzle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Haley on the ground.
Swizzle trying to keep a closed guard but Haley is proving a slippery customer.

Swizzle keeping full guard, as Haley tries to pass.
Haley seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Haley shoots for a takedown but Swizzle saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
It looked like Swizzle wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.

Haley clinches.
Swizzle avoids a wild elbow strike from Haley.
Haley tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Haley prevents a takedown attempt there.
Haley tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Swizzle avoids it.
Swizzle wants a takedown but no success here.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Swizzle goes for a takedown in the clinch but Haley prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kane Swizzle. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Swizzle has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Haley avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
Swizzle fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Haley misses with a short punch on the inside.

Swizzle decides to pull guard.
Swizzle is breathing heavily.
Haley cracks Swizzle with a solid left hand.

Haley gets to his feet - Swizzle follows without any prompting.

Haley has managed to clinch.
Swizzle tries to pull guard but Haley won't allow it.
Swizzle tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Haley just stands there and leans against the cage.
Swizzle tries to pull guard but Haley won't allow it.

Haley pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Swizzle enables Haley to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Swizzle manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Haley's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Haley is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Haley passes into half guard.

Haley stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Swizzle to get to his feet.

Haley moves into range and clinches up with Swizzle.

Haley breaks from the clinch.
Swizzle dodges the punch combination from Haley.
A jab from Swizzle misses.
Swizzle displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Haley.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Haley throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Swizzle was covering up waiting for the punch and Haley finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Swizzle wants to get back to his feet but Haley passes into half guard.

Haley performing his best blanket impression for a moment.
Haley looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Swizzle with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Lukas Haley dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Swizzle gets caught napping as Haley dives in and scores a takedown. Swizzle manages to retain guard.
Swizzle trying to control the position.
Haley is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Haley postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Swizzle can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Haley controls the pace.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Swizzle wants to get back to his feet but Haley passes into half guard.
Haley is controlling the pace.
Haley moves into full mount! Swizzle won't be happy about that!

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Haley looking to control and managing it successfully.

Haley looking to secure an arm triangle but Swizzle defends it well.
Haley with the ground and pound from mount.
Haley pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Haley is in the full mount, landing strikes.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Haley lands a big elbow.
Haley takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Haley is landing with some decent strikes but Swizzle is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Haley controlling the position easily from mount.
Haley raining down shots from the mount!
Swizzle is trying desperately to improve position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Swizzle is just holding on here. Haley manages to take his back.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Haley looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
Haley biding his time, controlling Swizzle.
Haley lands with a hammerfist to the side of Swizzle's head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Haley is working the back position looking for the choke. Oh, he's slid into an armbar! Beautiful transition and Swizzle taps out! Fantastic Jiu Jitsu from Haley.
