These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaz tries a head kick but it misses.
As Diaz tries to get set, Skenojabitch tries to push him back and clinch up but Diaz manages to avoid the attempt.
Skenojabitch lunges at Diaz with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Diaz's hand.
Diaz throws a head kick that misses
and Skenojabitch counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Good shot there by Skenojabitch.
Diaz throws a lazy head kick
and Skenojabitch counters with a head kick. That will keep Diaz thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Diaz looks winded!
Skenojabitch connects with a crisp jab.
Skenojabitch scores with a big combo that sends Diaz crashing to the mat! He's still conscious but the referee has seen enough as Diaz flops around uncontrollably and he's called an end to the fight! Skenojabitch jumps onto the ropes and throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Gross.
