Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Evgeniy Boesku (ranked 4549 p4p, 4759 weight class) and Ashton Ribeiro (ranked 449 p4p, 458 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Evgeniy Boesku!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ashton Ribeiro!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Shirou Masuda.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Boesku throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ribeiro was covering up waiting for the punch and Boesku finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ribeiro looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Boesku tries to free his leg and advance position but Ribeiro is retaining full guard.
Boesku wanted to stand there but Ribeiro had control of the position.
Ribeiro wants to hit a sweep here but Boesku passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Ribeiro there!
Ribeiro tries to lock up and control but Boesku gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Boesku lands a big elbow.
Boesku scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Ribeiro?
Ribeiro slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Boesku with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ribeiro trying to control here.
Boesku controlling the pace.
Ribeiro wants to control but Boesku is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Boesku is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Ribeiro is just riding it out for now. Boesku eventually gives up the hold.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Ribeiro has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Boesku is working away from the top position though.

Ribeiro looking for submissions off his back.
Boesku knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ribeiro on the ground.

Boesku wants to work for an arm triangle but Ribeiro is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Boesku is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
We've been hearing that Boesku has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Boesku trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

Boesku looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Boesku blocks the body kick.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ribeiro looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ribeiro throws a nice outside leg kick.
Horrible takedown attempt by Boesku or perhaps it was just good defense by Ribeiro, which made it look bad.
Donk. Ribeiro catches Boesku right on the button with a cross.
Ashton Ribeiro seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ribeiro tries to clinch

and Boesku counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Ribeiro!
Ribeiro is trying to get back to half guard.
Boesku advances nicely into full mount.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Boesku scoring with strikes but Ribeiro is staying in there.
Boesku tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Boesku wants to finish this one by submission but Ribeiro is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Boesku.
Ribeiro is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Boesku takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Evgeniy Boesku dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Boesku ducks right into an uppercut from Ribeiro.
Boesku tries to score a power double leg takedown but Ribeiro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Boesku somewhat.
A head kick misses from Ribeiro.
A left lands for Ribeiro.
Boesku rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Ribeiro moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Ribeiro misses with a head kick.
Ribeiro moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot.
Ribeiro doesn't manage to clinch there - Boesku circles away.
Boesku is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Ribeiro can do to turn this around?

Ribeiro's corner calls for a 1-2. Ribeiro obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Boesku fails with a takedown attempt.
Ribeiro throws a sloppy head kick and Boesku moves out of range easily.

Boesku shoots in but no luck this time.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Evgeniy Boesku. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ribeiro cracks Boesku with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Boesku tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Ribeiro pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Boesku is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:10 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ashton Ribeiro!
A very excited looking Ashton Ribeiro made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
