Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Grady Adams!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Scott Calvin!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Calvin on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Scott Calvin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Adams tries to clinch up but Calvin circles away and keeps his distance.
Adams lands an overhand right.
Adams darts in and clinches Calvin up against the cage.
Calvin can't get the takedown.
Adams lands an elbow that stopped Calvin in his tracks for a moment.

Adams is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Calvin postures up and lands a big shot to Adams's brow.

Adams on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Adams tries to get out of the position.

Calvin is working Adams over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Adams working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Calvin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Calvin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Calvin loads up on a big left hand. Adams felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Calvin looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Adams can't hide his disappointment, as Calvin celebrates the victory.
