Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Martin Bhullar!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 22 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ding Ding Dong!
The judges for this bout are Paulo Santos, Leandro Rodrigues and Daniel Cesar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bhullar misses with a body shot.
Bhullar looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Ding Dong avoids the head kick by Bhullar.
Bhullar ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ding Dong moves away.
Ding Dong darts in looking for a takedown but Bhullar gets double underhooks and turns Ding Dong into the cage.
Ding Dong avoids the head kick by Bhullar.
Bhullar misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Bhullar shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Bhullar was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Bhullar tries to advance to mount but Ding Dong denies him.
Ding Dong seems a little lost for a moment, as Bhullar dominates the positioning.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ding Dong is looking to regain half guard here but Bhullar keeps moving and retains side control.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Bhullar tries to advance to mount but can't.
Bhullar taking a breather here.
Ding Dong prevents Bhullar from moving into mount.
Bhullar tries to score with some ground and pound. Ding Dong controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Bhullar has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Ding Dong!

Ding Dong prevents Bhullar from taking his back.

Bhullar controlling the position easily from mount.
Bhullar has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Bhullar thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Bhullar looking to control and managing it successfully.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ding Dong avoids a series of strikes thrown by Bhullar.
Bhullar wants to take Ding Dong's back here but Ding Dong is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

Ding Dong wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Bhullar.

Ding Dong tries to reverse the position but Bhullar maintains control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Bhullar takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Bhullar throws some wild stikes that Ding Dong manages to avoid easily.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Bhullar throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Bhullar fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Ding Dong to the ground. Bhullar is now in Ding Dong's guard.
Bhullar is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Martin Bhullar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Bhullar passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Bhullar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Bhullar controls the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Bhullar has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Ding Dong!

Ding Dong has left one of his arms exposed and Bhullar doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Ding Dong screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Martin Bhullar!
In defeat, Ding Ding Dong stepped up to the mic, saying '"Everybody out there know I beat him, I controlled the fight, he was missing, I hit him plenty more times. I beat him.Let me talk something... I want to thank the whole hood who came out here. I love y'all. I did this for the hood, you know I beat that boy.'.
