Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luka Anatoli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Cope (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cope has chosen Soldiers as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cope moves out of range of the strikes.
Cope lands a jab-cross combination.
It looks like Luka Anatoli has been cut.
Anatoli throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cope counters by moving into the clinch.

Anatoli throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Cope on the side of the head.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Cope wants to control from the top but Anatoli keeps moving.
Anatoli is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Cope is controlling him.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Cope thuds his right hand into Anatoli's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Anatoli closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Anatoli lands in his opponent's guard.
Anatoli has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Cope is on top in guard.

Cope prevents Anatoli from escaping the position.
Anatoli is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Cope is working to tighten is grip on Anatoli's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Anatoli has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Cope is really squeezing tight and eventually Anatoli passes out! Cope breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
