The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masamba throws a series of punches but Wick moves out of range.
Wick is looking to counter punch.
Wick seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Masamba avoids the body shot from Wick.
It seemed like Masamba was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Wick throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
A little jabbing left from Masamba on the counter but it doesn't find it's target.
Wick lands a slapping body shot.
Masamba lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wick's sensitive parts.

Wick connects with a leg kick.
No joy there for Wick, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Masamba avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
And Masamba responds with a good body kick, but Wick manages to step out the way in time.
Masamba scores with a decent looking hook.
Masamba throws a hook but Wick blocks it.
Masamba thows a left - swing and a miss!
As Masamba tries to get set, Wick tries to push him back and clinch up but Masamba manages to avoid the attempt.
Masamba misses the jab.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Masamba loads up on a big right hand but Wick slips the punch.
A little feinted left hand from Wick on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.
Oh Wick is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Masamba throws the kick towards the body but Wick avoids it.
Wick throws a lazy right hand but Masamba sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Wick on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Wick seems to have got his legs back now.

Wick throws a looping overhand right but Masamba ducks down to avoid it.
Wick swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Masamba.

It looks like Lutalo Masamba has been cut.
Wick misses with a hook.
Masamba misses with a body shot
and Wick counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Wick scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Wick throws a head kick but Masamba moves out of range.
Wick misses with a low kick as Masamba jumps back.
Wick on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Wick misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Wick scores with a hook.
Wick misses the shot to the body.
Masamba follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.
Masamba loads up on a big right hand but Wick slips the punch.
Wick ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Masamba moves away.
Masamba misses with an uppercut. Wick saw that one coming.
John Wick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Masamba sizes up Wick with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Wick drops Masamba with a naaaaasty hook - Masamba is in real trouble here! Wick dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
