Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Deshawn Mcknight (ranked 4111 p4p, 3082 weight class) and Zachariah Greer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Deshawn Mcknight! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Zachariah Greer! The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mcknight closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mcknight lands in his opponent's guard. Mcknight might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Mcknight trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Greer is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Mcknight working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Greer's head. Mcknight is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Mcknight works over Greer with some ground and pound from guard. Mcknight chips away with some ground and pound. Mcknight has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Mcknight controls from within his opponent's guard. Mcknight working some strikes from top position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Greer wants to get back to his feet but Mcknight is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mcknight pushing down on Greer's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Mcknight lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Mcknight wants to pass the guard but Greer is defending well. Greer is trying to stand up here but Mcknight is controlling him well. Mcknight is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Mcknight controlling the action here. Mcknight looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Mcknight keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Mcknight lands with a punch from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mcknight controlling the action here. Greer is refusing to be controlled, as Mcknight sits in half guard. Greer taking some punishment here, with Mcknight in his half guard.
Greer is rocked! Mcknight is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Greer! Greer is still in real trouble! Can Mcknight finish him? The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mcknight looking to finish here with some ground and pound. He lands one big shot that has Greer covering up... and two more big strikes land, forcing the referee to step in and put and end to proceedings! This fight is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Deshawn Mcknight! A less than humble Deshawn Mcknight misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
