Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Itchy Go (ranked 4743 p4p, 3962 weight class) and Sinan Vrases (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Itchy Go had a look across the cage there at his opponent. He definitely means business

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Itchy Go!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sinan Vrases!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vrases closes the distance and clinches.
Vrases lands a nice knee to the body.
Vrases tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Vrases unloads a knee to the mid-section. Go lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Go is trying to pull guard but Vrases has him pressed against the cage.
Go takes a knee right on the jaw!

Vrases wants to take the fight to the mat but Go manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Vrases tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Vrases content to slow the pace in the clinch.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Go not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Vrases wants to sweep but no luck.
Go wants to control from the top but Vrases keeps moving.
Go looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Go will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Go cracks Vrases with a solid left hand.
Go is looking to stand up but Vrases won't let him.
Go engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.
Vrases has a closed guard, preventing Go from standing up.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Go forces his way into half guard.
Go stalling.
Go trying to mount his opponent but Vrases defends it.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vrases can do anything to dispel that myth.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Go trying to control the action but Vrases is working from the bottom.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Sinan Vrases dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Nice takedown defense from Go. No joy for Vrases on that attempt.

Vrases using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Go has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Sinan Vrases seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Go wants to stall.
Go looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Go fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Go has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Vrases avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Go wants to get back to his feet but Vrases is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Go holds on and takes a little breather.

Go bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Vrases's guard.

Vrases has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Go has passed into side control.
Go advances nicely into full mount.
Vrases wants to control but Go is having none of it.
Vrases really trying hard to get back to half guard here.

Go looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Go can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Vrases is looking to escape.
Itchy Go overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
The referee warns Vrases that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Go looking to control but Vrases is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Go controlling the pace for now.

Go is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Vrases can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Vrases really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Go trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Go works his way to his opponent's back.

Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Go throws a head kick but Vrases moves out of range.

Go has Vrases pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Vrases manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Vrases lands a knee to the head there! That was nasty!
Vrases stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

Go is rocked!
Go drops down looking for an ankle pick but Vrases pulls his leg out and moves away.
Oh Go is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Go dives in for a single leg takedown but Vrases sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Go takes a knee right on the jaw!
Vrases working the clinch nicely. Go is working for position but Vrases cracks him with a big knee to the head! Go crumples up against the cage and Vrases lands two more shots before the ref can save Go! This one is all over!
