Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eric Frost (ranked 2692 p4p, 2588 weight class) and Ryan Montana (ranked 261 p4p, 255 weight class). Ryan Montana will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Eric Frost! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryan Montana! The judges for this bout are David Hoff, Bart Greer and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frost throws a hook but Montana blocks it. Montana has taken the fight to the clinch.
Frost jumps guard but Montana stands there with Frost around his waist. Frost gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Montana is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Frost is keeping busy. Frost jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Montana walks away with a smile on his face. Frost gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Montana clinches. Frost is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Montana. Montana looking for a sweep but Frost has passed into full mount! Oh no! Frost wants to take his opponent's back but he's not managed it.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Montana is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Montana takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Frost just keeping the dominant position. He can't wait too long though, otherwise the referee will stand them back up.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Eric Frost. Well Montana has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality.
