Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Milton Alves (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Crocopski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Milton Alves! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Michael Crocopski! The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Leandro Rodrigues and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crocopski bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
It looks like Milton Alves has been cut. Crocopski throws a series of punches but Alves moves out of range. Crocopski tries to clinch but Alves moves out of range. Alves circles away from the clinch attempt.
Crocopski fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Alves on the side of the head. Alves swats away the attempt to clinch by Crocopski. No luck for Alves with that takedown attempt. Crocopski throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Alves gets a clinch. Crocopski tries to land knees in the clinch but Alves avoids the damage to the body. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crocopski is pulling down on Alves's head. It's preventing any offense from Alves, at least for the moment. Crocopski keeping full guard, as Alves tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crocopski has control of Alves's left arm, preventing Alves from doing any damage. Alves postures up in Crocopski's guard and throws a big left but Crocopski blocks it. Alves with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

Crocopski is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Alves prevents Crocopski from getting back to his feet. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Alves accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Alves thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Alves preventing the sweep. Crocopski is looking to stand up but Alves isn't so interested in that idea. Crocopski has control of Alves's left arm, preventing Alves from doing any damage. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Crocopski can do anything to dispel that myth.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Crocopski scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Alves doesn't seem bothered though. Alves has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Crocopski finds it's way round the side to connect with Alves's head. Crocopski clinches up against the cage. Crocopski putting his Muay Thai to good use. He has Alves in a tight clinch and is doing some damage with knees to the body. Crocopski lands a nice elbow from the clinch.

Crocopski throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Alves blocks it with crossed arms. Crocopski gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Alves on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Crocopski lands an elbow that stopped Alves in his tracks for a moment. Alves takes an elbow to the temple.
Milton Alves's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. A short right from Crocopski on the inside. Alves avoiding damage as Crocopski throws knees to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Michael Crocopski dominated that round. Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Alves looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Crocopski gets a clinch. Alves tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Crocopski smiles and moves away.
Crocopski stuffs the takedown attempt from Alves. Alves gets slowly back to his feet. Alves shoots in for a double leg but Crocopski sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Milton Alves. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck for Alves with that takedown attempt. Alves avoids the head kick by Crocopski.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Milton Alves's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
