Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Tommy Van Bone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Turolla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jorge Turolla struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 206.3lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Jorge Turolla told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A decent looking cross lands there for Van Bone.
It looks like Jorge Turolla has been cut.

Van Bone is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Turolla looks gassed!
Turolla throws a right hand that Van Bone ducks under and follows up with a left that Van Bone also avoids with ease.
Van Bone is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Turolla.
Turolla fails in his attempt to clinch.
Van Bone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Turolla is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Turolla throws a sloppy head kick and Van Bone moves out of range easily.

Van Bone slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.

Turolla is rocked!
That has opened up Jorge Turolla's cut even more.
Van Bone finds Turolla's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Turolla flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Van Bone lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Turolla will be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Tommy Van Bone!
