Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mark Jackacy (ranked 3481 p4p, 3806 weight class) and Marc Horton (ranked 326 p4p, 349 weight class). Jackacy comes to the cage accompanied by Nkolo Akosunga - Lokua Kanza. Mark Jackacy has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Jackacy dips to his left and cracks Horton with an uppercut!
Jackacy connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.

Horton's coach down at Ragnarok\'s Gym was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Horton's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Jackacy creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Horton jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Jackacy walks away with a smile on his face. Horton gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Horton throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jackacy leaves Horton with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

It seemed like Horton was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Mark Jackacy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Horton darts in looking for a takedown but Jackacy gets double underhooks and turns Horton into the cage.
Horton displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Jackacy throws out the jab.

Jackacy tries to clinch up but Horton circles away and keeps his distance.
Horton is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Jackacy looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Horton can't hide his disappointment, as Jackacy celebrates the victory.
