The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chang tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Chang looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Cox gets the takedown into side control.
Cox prevents Chang from escaping the position.

Cox tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Cox has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Cox creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.

Cox tries for a kimura but Chang is defending well.
Chang is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Cox is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Chang is squirming around, avoiding Cox's attempts to control the action.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Cox lands a nice shot to the head.
Chang knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Cox on the ground.

Cox looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Cox wants to control the pace but Chang is squirming around nicely.

Let's hope that Cox has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Cox cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cox is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Chang is surviving well by controlling Cox's body position as best he can.
Cox avoids the attempt from Chang to control.
Chang is trying to escape the mount but Cox keeps good control and instead manages to take Chang's back.
Chang holding both Cox 's hands and preventing any damage.

Chang tries to escape the position.

Chang preventing the rear naked choke attempt from Cox.
Cox looks gassed!
Chang turns into Cox and is now in his guard.

Cox looking for a guillotine here but Chang defends easily.

Chang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Cox misses with a body shot.
Chau Chang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chang fails with the takedown

and Cox decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Chang's guard.
Cox trying to control the position from guard on top but Chang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Cox wants to pass the guard but Chang is keeping the position.

Cox slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Cox advances nicely into full mount.
Chang is in all sorts of trouble here.
Chang prevents Cox from taking his back.
Cox fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Chang is trying to reverse the position but instead Cox has taken his back - oops!

Chang is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

Cox is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Chang defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Chang breaks Cox's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

Cox is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Chang has his hands clasped together but Cox extends an breaks Chang's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Cox.
