Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Grand Admiral Thrawn (ranked 1695 p4p, 1737 weight class) and Ameen Robertson (ranked 219 p4p, 225 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 13 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Grand Admiral Thrawn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 11 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ameen Robertson! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Jeff Smith and Colin Fray.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Robertson throws a right and a left that Thrawn avoids nicely. Thrawn tries to clinch but Robertson moves out of range. Thrawn walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Thrawn tries to close the distance and clinch up but Robertson swats him away and circles back towards the center. Robertson scores with a one two! Thrawn had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Thrawn tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Robertson paws at him with a jab and circles away. Thrawn throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Robertson avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

We've been told by Thrawn's head coaches at Kalashnikov ELITE MMA Gym that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Robertson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Thrawn stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Robertson keeps the fight on the outside. Robertson takes a swing at Thrawn's ribcage but misses. Thrawn throws a counter high kick but Robertson was just alert enough to avoid it. Robertson circles away from the clinch attempt enabling Robertson to counter with a crisp jab.
 Thrawn is rocked!
 That's one minute gone in the round. Thrawn is aggressively charging in as Robertson backs up avoiding any damage. Robertson tosses out a jab and Thrawn runs right into it face first! Thrawn is out cold! Robertson dropped down on all fours and is barking in Thrawn's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:11 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ameen Robertson!
