With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Daichi Tanaka!
The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yuuki Gou and Yukihiro Yamamoto.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rocha slips a straight right by Tanaka.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Rocha is defended easily by Tanaka.
Tanaka throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Rocha lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
An inside leg kick from Rocha misses.
Tanaka tries to move into range but Rocha moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Rocha rushes Tanaka and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Rocha works on Tanaka's body with a couple of short punches.
Rocha breaks from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rocha definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.

Rocha with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Tanaka to score with a decent uppercut.
Rocha pivots, looking for a leg kick but Tanaka is out of range and Rocha settles back down.
Rocha swings for the body but Tanaka moves out of range.

Tanaka looks to land a right hand but Rocha moved out of range.

Tanaka tries to lock up and control but Rocha gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
