The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Risi on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot.
Haelfson shoots for a double leg takedown but Risi sprawls well. He's pushed Haelfson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Risi flicks out a counter leg kick but Haelfson steps away.

A clash of legs there as Haelfson blocks the low kick.
Haelfson misses with a kick to the body.

Risi looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Haelfson lets loose with a powerful body kick. Risi will feel that in the morning.

Haelfson drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Risi is controlling Haelfson's posture.
Haelfson slips nicely into half guard.
Haelfson wants to pass to mount but Risi is defending the position.
Risi tries to get to full guard but Haelfson has control of the leg.

Haelfson is trying to work for a kimura but Risi is defending well.

Risi tries to roll over but Haelfson keeps him under control.
Haelfson is looking to pass Risi's guard but actually Risi recovers to full guard.
Haelfson passes Risi's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Risi wants to control but Haelfson is keeping busy.
Haelfson scores with a couple of good hammerfists.

Haelfson is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Haelfson tries to pass to full mount but Risi defends it.

Haelfson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Risi is desperately trying to improve his position but Haelfson has a good base and remains in mount.
Risi tries to lock up and control but Haelfson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Risi is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Haelfson is staying active.

Haelfson working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Risi turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Haelfson off and cradles Risi's limp body as Haelfson celebrates with his corner.
