Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kingston Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Joe Killzaghe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mason comes to the cage accompanied by Sean Kingston-Take you there. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joe Killzaghe! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Killzaghe shoots in but Mason avoids the takedown attempt easily. Mason looks frusrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Mason with a lazy takedown attempt and Killzaghe counters by clinching up. Killzaghe jumps guard.
Mason working some strikes from top position. Mason avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Killzaghe looking for a sweep. Not yet Killzaghe, not yet. Killzaghe not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Mason working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Killzaghe has momentary wrist control but Mason slips an elbow through the middle. Mason looking to pass the guard. Killzaghe looking to hit a scissor sweep but Mason is one step ahead there. Mason postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Mason working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Mason missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Killzaghe keeping full guard, as Mason tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Killzaghe manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Mason manages to get himself to full guard.

Killzaghe is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Killzaghe preventing the sweep. Mason is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Killzaghe avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Killzaghe trying to control the position from guard on top but Mason is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mason working for submissions but it's allowed Killzaghe to get to half guard.

Mason actively working from the bottom here. Killzaghe is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Mason wants to improve his position but Killzaghe is controlling well.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Killzaghe passes to full mount! Killzaghe moves to the back. Mason is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
Killzaghe is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Mason has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Killzaghe has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Mason taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Killzaghe doesn't care though - he's delighted!
