Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world!

With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Luke Smith!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mick Taylor!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and George Francis.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Taylor has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Smith uses from the top position.

Taylor has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Smith is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Taylor.
