Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Liwa Kursiwa (ranked 860 p4p, 280 weight class) and Draco Leonidas (ranked 81 p4p, 28 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Liwa Kursiwa has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Liwa Kursiwa seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Liwa Kursiwa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 13 - 5 - 1, fighting out of London, Draco Leonidas!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kursiwa shoots in looking for a takedown. Leonidas tries to sprawl out of it but Kursiwa keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Leonidas manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Leonidas looks to land a body kick but Kursiwa moved away.
Kursiwa takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kursiwa walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Leonidas lands a really nice looking cross but Kursiwa seems unphased.
Leonidas misses with a looping left.
Leonidas lands a nice hook to Kursiwa's body. Kursiwa takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kursiwa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Leonidas as he jumps to the side.

Kursiwa chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Leonidas can pounce on him.

Kursiwa looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Leonidas is fending him off so far but Kursiwa persists. Nope, Leonidas circles away and we're back to standing.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Leonidas holds on and takes a little breather.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kursiwa tries to land a front kick but Leonidas steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Kursiwa tries to bum rush Leonidas with a series of wild strikes but Leonidas uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Kursiwa throws a right and a left that Leonidas avoids nicely.

Draco Leonidas comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
