Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Itchy Go (ranked 5414 p4p, 24980 weight class) and Jay Metcalf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Itchy Go looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Go throws a lazy head kick
and Metcalf counters with a straight right hand.
Metcalf moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Go is rocked!
Metcalf looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Go is fending him off so far but Metcalf persists. Nope, Go circles away and we're back to standing.
Oh Go is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Go moves out of range of the body kick.
Metcalf shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Go pinned against the cage. Go gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Metcalf rushes Go and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Metcalf looking to throw knees to the head but Go is blocking nicely.

Metcalf manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

and Go counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Go is trying to control the action in half guard but Metcalf is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Go with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Go working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

That was a close second round but I would say that Itchy Go will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Itchy Go.
