The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A chopping leg kick lands by Darren.
A head kick misses from Darren.
Darren throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mcgee.
Mcgee goes for a double leg but Darren avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Darren continues to drive forward.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Mcgee sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Darren's guard.

Mcgee looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Darren with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

Darren knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mcgee on the ground.

Mcgee is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Darren has managed to free his arm - good work.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mcgee lands a nice short elbow.
