PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Luc Mancer (ranked 4096 p4p, 4119 weight class) and Mr Necro (ranked 0 p4p, 269 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Necro drops back, looking for a kneebar! Mancer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Mancer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Mancer!

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Necro is not content to let Mancer control the position.

Mancer decides to stand back up. Mancer steps back and let's Necro get back to his feet.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Mancer shoots in looking for a takedown. Necro tries to sprawl out of it but Mancer keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Necro manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Necro has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Mancer uses from the top position.

Necro isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Mancer stacks Necro on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Mancer!
