PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Camden Roach (ranked 5503 p4p, 24474 weight class) and Ricky Rivas (ranked 489 p4p, 522 weight class). Rivas comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Breathin kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Camden Roach has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Camden Roach!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Rivas!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roach drives through with a takedown into guard.

Roach postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Roach is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rivas can do anything to dispel that myth.

We've been informed that Rivas has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
