Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Chase Villa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Adan Rollins!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Percy O'Donnell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rollins bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Villa's head.
Adan Rollins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rollins throws a combination that misses
so Villa counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Villa trying to control the position from guard on top but Rollins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Villa is fighting to break Rollins's control of his arms but Rollins is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Villa is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Rollins tries to land a sweep but no joy.

Rollins keeps trying to improve his position.
Rollins wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Villa is now in half guard.
Villa wants to take a breather but Rollins is having none of it.

Rollins is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Rollins can do anything to dispel that myth.
Rollins wants to control but Villa is keeping busy.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Rollins ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Villa moves away.
Villa looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Rollins is trying to control the position but Villa postures up.
Rollins is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Rollins has a closed guard, preventing Villa from standing up.
Villa is looking to advance position but Rollins has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
Rollins with shots to the head and body - Villa looks very uncomfortable down there.
Villa tries to lock up and control but Rollins gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Rollins working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Rollins scores with a couple of good head shots there.

Rollins cracks Villa with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Rollins drops a big elbow. That's hurt Villa! More shots from Rollins and the ref steps in! The fight is over!
