Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pablo Blades (ranked 1266 p4p, 1957 weight class) and Sam Morril (ranked 132 p4p, 206 weight class). Blades comes to the cage accompanied by Three 6 Mafia - It's a fight. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Pablo Blades! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Sam Morril! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Jorge Garcia and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Morril looks to land a left hand but Blades moved out of range nicely. Morril avoids a punch combination nicely.
Morril flicks out a counter leg kick but Blades steps away. Morril ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Blades moves away. Blades went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Morril takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Morril scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Blades lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Sloppy strikes from Blades. Those never looked like landing. Morril misses with a left hand and Blades counters with a thumping low kick. Blades lands a glancing blow to the side of Morril's head. Blades has been working on his boxing with his coaches at California Top Team in the buildup to the fight. A slapping leg kick lands for Blades.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Morril misses with an uppercut. Blades throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Morril sees it coming and avoids it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. A slow jab from Morril misses its intended target. An attempted straight right counter from Blades misses the target. Blades drops Morril with a beautiful combination! Morril stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Blades is looking for the KO!
Morril is rocked! Morril drops his hands for a split second and Blades immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Morril face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Blades follows up with a right hand that knocks Morril into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Pablo Blades! In his post fight interview, Pablo Blades started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
