Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Hideo Tokoro (ranked 2005 p4p, 3170 weight class) and Martin Burns (ranked 239 p4p, 351 weight class). Tokoro comes to the cage accompanied by Blksmiith - Gore-Tex Covers my Soul. Burns has chosen will ospreay theme as his entrance music. Hideo Tokoro has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Hideo Tokoro! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Martin Burns! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Franklyn Lucas and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Burns fails with the takedown and Tokoro cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Tokoro lands with a cross. Burns takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Burns shoots in for a takedown but Tokoro shows good takedown defense. A left lands for Tokoro. Tokoro looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. A swing and a miss from Tokoro. Tokoro connects with the punch. Tokoro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burns manages to avoid it. Burns on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Burns is rocked! Tokoro digs a good body shot into Burns's ribs. Burns is still on wobbly legs! Can Tokoro finish him? Burns on the wrong end of a nice jab. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Burns tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tokoro sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Burns somewhat. Hideo Tokoro has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Martin Burns. Burns looks winded! Burns takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's one minute gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Burns or perhaps it was just good defense by Tokoro, which made it look bad. Burns seems to have recovered his senses. Burns looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Tokoro fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Burns manages to avoid it. Tokoro misses with a body shot.
Tokoro stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Tokoro wants it to stay on the feet. Tokoro cracks a nice hook into Burns's ribs. Tokoro throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Burns. The fighters circle momentarily. Tokoro darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Tokoro throws a series of punches but Burns moves out of range. Nice shot lands for Tokoro. Tokoro cracks Burns on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Burns falls backwards against the cage. Tokoro follows up with more strikes that drop Burns to his knees. Tokoro keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Burns! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hideo Tokoro! An out of breath and clearly excited Hideo Tokoro thanked 30th Century Beer Store for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
