Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Field (ranked 4144 p4p, 4150 weight class) and Under Walker (ranked 453 p4p, 454 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walker stuffs the takedown.
Field really is a fat lump.
Field looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Field fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Field shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Walker as he avoids it easily.

Walker forces Field back against the cage and clinches.

As Field backs off Walker throws a huge counter combo but Field manages to avoid it all.

Field misses with a hook to the ribs.

Field turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Field manages to end up in side control.
Walker tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Field wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Walker wants to control but Field postures up.
Field tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Walker tries to buck Field off but Field is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Field tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Walker can't do much from the bottom here.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Walker can do anything to dispel that myth.

Walker tries to escape but Field is in control.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Walker tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Field was well out of range. Poor timing from Walker.
Field shoots for a takedown but Walker saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Field shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Field showed some decent athleticism there.
Walker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Field. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Field uses his free foot to push down on Walker's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Walker.

Field is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Walker can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Field unloads with some shots from mount but Walker bucks and avoids them well.
Field wants to control the pace but Walker is squirming around nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
