This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the light heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Sydney, with a TWGC record of 4 wins and 3 losses; Frank Brown! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Las Vegas, with a TWGC record of 6 wins and 1 losses; Jone White!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Brown gets a double leg takedown into White's guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Brown (2) vs (0) White
Brown trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
White wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Brown is now in half guard.
White really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
White won't allow Brown to pass to mount.
Brown is controlling the pace.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if White can do anything to dispel that myth.

White is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Brown pulls his head out easily.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brown is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so White is just riding it out for now. Brown eventually gives up the hold.

White is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
White has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Brown is working away from the top position though.
White preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Brown wants to pass the guard but White is defending well.
Brown is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and White defends it well.
White is looking for a sweep. Brown is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Brown is sneakily working for an arm triangle but White sees it coming and defends easily.

White tries to escape the position.
Brown has one arm under White 's neck. White is controlling the other arm well. He's just looking to survive right now. Brown manages to get his arm free though and White is in a world of trouble! Brown sinks in the hooks and squeezes! White turns purple and then goes limp. The referee steps in to end the bout!
