Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Limu Emu (ranked 1379 p4p, 907 weight class) and Kai Tokugawa (ranked 185 p4p, 114 weight class). Tokugawa has chosen Red Warrior as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 12 - 12 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Limu Emu!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Kai Tokugawa!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Percy O'Donnell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tokugawa throws a shot from downtown. Emu moves away and avoids it.
Tokugawa misses with a wild body shot.
Emu pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Emu blocks a low kick nicely.
Emu throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Tokugawa uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Emu.
Tokugawa was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind.
Emu misses with a lunging right hand
and Tokugawa counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Emu shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
enabling Tokugawa to counter with a crisp jab.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tokugawa lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
A telegraphed right hand from Emu misses the target.
Emu misses with a combination
and Tokugawa counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.

A jab from Emu finds it's way through Tokugawa's defenses.

Emu manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Tokugawa on his heels. He'll look to pass Tokugawa's guard now, I'm sure.

Tokugawa wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Emu manages to pass to side control.
Emu seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.

Tokugawa stuffs the takedown attempt from Emu. Emu gets slowly back to his feet.

Tokugawa throws out a loose jab but Emu uses good head movement to avoid it.

Limu Emu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Emu throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Tokugawa on the side of the head.

and Emu counters with a stiff right hand.
Tokugawa closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Emu throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Tokugawa sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Emu connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

Emu feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Tokugawa tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Emu was well out of range. Poor timing from Tokugawa.

Tokugawa uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Emu.
Tokugawa looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Tokugawa fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Emu thows a left - swing and a miss!
Tokugawa is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Emu had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into mush.
Emu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tokugawa moves away.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Kai Tokugawa will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Limu Emu's cut.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Emu does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Emu tries to score with a low kick but Tokugawa moves his leg out of the way.
Emu throws a nice outside leg kick.
Emu is looking to land body kicks.
Emu tries to score a power double leg takedown but Tokugawa sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Emu somewhat.

and Tokugawa counters with a leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tokugawa slips a jab from Emu.
A jab from Emu does it's job there.
Emu looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Emu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Tokugawa throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Tokugawa has a couple of punches blocked by Emu.

Emu looks to throw the jab but Tokugawa is out of range.

Kai Tokugawa is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Emu.
Tokugawa has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off.

Tokugawa takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Emu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Emu moves in looking to clinch but Tokugawa pushes him off.
Emu shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Tokugawa napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Tokugawa is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Emu is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That was a close second round but I would say that Limu Emu will probably get the nod.

Tokugawa takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Tokugawa drops Emu with a beautiful combination! Emu stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Tokugawa is looking for the KO!

Tokugawa knocks out Emu with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Tokugawa before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Tokugawa picks up the big W with a huge KO!
