Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Han Seul Kim (ranked 4595 p4p, 24864 weight class) and Alan West (ranked 468 p4p, 556 weight class). Alan West is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Han Seul Kim! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alan West! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kim throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by West.
It looks like Alan West has been cut. West looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Kim doesn't succeed with the takedown and West cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Kim throws a head kick that misses. It seemed like West was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Kim looks to clinch letting West counter with a right hand. Kim throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice uppercut there from Kim. Kim tries to grapple but his opponent circles and West counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Kim has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Rising Sun Training in the buildup to the fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks West to the ground! Kim dives into full mount looking to finish!
West is rocked! Kim is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but West is surviving well by controlling Kim's body position as best he can. West is still in real trouble! Can Kim finish him? This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kim is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! West seems to have recovered his senses. West walks into a jab. West slaps away a takedown attempt from Kim, before circling back to the center of the mat. West looks like he wants to counter punch here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kim with a poor takedown enabling West to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Han Seul Kim. That's going to take a lot out of him. West blocks a head kick by Kim.
West swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Kim throws a sloppy head kick and Kim takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Kim throws a nice looking combination but West bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. West looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Kim moves into range and clinches up with West.
That's three minutes gone in the round. West lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. West prevents a takedown attempt there.
A left hand lands to the body for West.
Kim is looking for a takedown up against the cage. West gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. West ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. West no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. West really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kim. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kim wants to pass the guard but West is keeping the position. Kim drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and West dives on top into guard.
West gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Kim darts in trying to clinch and West counters with a straight right hand.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kim fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but West is out of range. Kim throws a head kick that half lands.
Kim tries to clinch but West moves out of range. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Han Seul Kim dominated that round. The cut man is working on Alan West's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Kim misses with a combination
and West counters with a stiff right hand. Kim tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but West paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kim doesn't succeed with the takedown and West connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kim misses with a wild combination.
It seemed like West was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. West has been working his punching technique in the buildup to the fight and it appears to be paying off. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kim throws a head kick that misses. West swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Han Seul Kim seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kim. And an attempted straight right on the counter from West! But no joy. West uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kim. West swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. Kim shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. West manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. West has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Kim has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage. Kim pulls guard successfully.
West lying in Kim's guard like a wet fish here, stalling away. Kim decides he's had enough of all that nonsense - he escapes his hips and locks up an armbar! Wow, that was slick! West taps! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
