The fighters bow as they face eachother in the middle of the mat and we are under way.
Nogueira shoots in for a takedown but Po shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Po closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Score +4 for clean takedown past guard: Nogueira (0) vs (4) Po
Po working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Po tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Po has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

Nogueira tries to roll over but Po keeps him under control.
Po looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Po is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Nogueira is just riding it out for now. Po eventually gives up the hold.

Po maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Nogueira could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Po has cracked it and Nogueira is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Po!

After the fight, Shen Po was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly. |
