The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nakamura lands with a straight right. Mcfarland didn't see that one coming.
Nakamura fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Mcfarland sprawls well initially but Nakamura persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Mcfarland is looking to improve his position.
Nakamura is taking a breather. Mcfarland says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Nakamura is trying for a kimura here. Mcfarland looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Nakamura wins by kimura!
