Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Howard Clay (ranked 3711 p4p, 2309 weight class) and Barry Redcola (ranked 427 p4p, 265 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Howard Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Barry Redcola!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Andrew Berry and Steven Brown.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown attempt by Clay or perhaps it was just good defense by Redcola, which made it look bad.
A decent looking cross lands there for Redcola.
Redcola moves away from the strike by Clay.
Redcola works the jab nicely.
Clay gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Redcola.
Clay shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Redcola as he jumps to the side.
Redcola appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
Clay tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Redcola manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

enabling Redcola to counter with a crisp jab.

Redcola fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Clay looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Oooooh!!! Redcola has knocked Clay down with a huge combo! Redcola steps away and waves a wobbly Clay back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Clay is rocked!
Redcola scores with a punch to the head.
Oh Clay is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Clay seems to have got his legs back now.

Redcola bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Clay's head backwards.
Redcola fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Redcola lands a left and a right that send Clay crashing to the mat, dazed. Redcola thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Clay shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Redcola is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Clay is controlling him.
Redcola is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Redcola looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Redcola is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Clay is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Clay won't allow Redcola to get back to his feet.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Redcola has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Clay is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Redcola prevents a takedown attempt there.
Redcola lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Clay is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
