Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Davis Jr (ranked 4123 p4p, 4107 weight class) and Love Ster (ranked 429 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Wagner Zegers and Paulsen Ambrosius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Davis Jr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Ster swings for the body but Davis Jr moves out of range.
Davis Jr fails with the takedown.
Ster is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Davis Jr moves into the clinch.
Ster should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Ster tries to break free but Davis Jr pushes him back against the cage.

Davis Jr decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Ster, up you get!
Davis Jr fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Ster avoids it really well and circles away.

Davis Jr goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Ster pulls guard effortlessly.

We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Ster has eaten all the pies!
Ster stalks Davis Jr and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Davis Jr's face. Davis Jr staggers backwards, shaken.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Ster.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Ster tries for a kimura but Davis Jr is defending well.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Ster staying calm.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Ster shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Davis Jr as he jumps to the side.
Ster shoots in for a double leg but Davis Jr sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Davis Jr, as that shot connected.
Ster dives in for a single leg takedown but Davis Jr sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Ster dives in and grabs Davis Jr's left leg, looking for a takedown. Davis Jr pushes down on Ster's head and hops out.
Davis Jr stuffs the takedown attempt from Ster. Ster gets slowly back to his feet.
Davis Jr shoots in and bounces Ster off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Ster has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Davis Jr has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Ster tries to break the clinch but Davis Jr is controlling the position.
Davis Jr tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ster smiles and moves away.
Davis Jr displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Ster.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Ster pulls Davis Jr in close to his closed guard and prevents Davis Jr from doing any damage or advancing position.

Let's hope that Ster has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
