PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight kickboxing rules bout between Dutch Schultz (ranked 18718 p4p, 3637 weight class) and Temirbek Yuldashev (ranked 532 p4p, 386 weight class). Yuldashev has chosen My Heart Is Cold as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 42 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dutch Schultz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Temirbek Yuldashev!
The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Patrick Alders and Wagner Zegers.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Schultz throws a head kick but Yuldashev moves out of range.
Schultz lands a jab-cross combination.
Schultz lands a head shot.
Yuldashev misses with a jab, cross combination.
Schultz slips a straight right by Yuldashev.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Yuldashev crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Schultz - the referee stops the clock and Yuldashev gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Schultz. Yuldashev manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Schultz avoids a kick to the body.
Schultz throws a body punch but Yuldashev moves out of range.
Schultz lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Yuldashev circles away quickly and effectively.
A decent looking cross lands there for Yuldashev.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Schultz throws a head kick but Yuldashev moves out of range.
Schultz throws a series of punches but Yuldashev avoids them all with ease.
Nice body kick from Schultz.
Schultz swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Yuldashev counters with a nice leg kick.
Schultz throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Yuldashev counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Schultz misses with an uppercut
and Yuldashev counters with an outside leg kick.

Schultz takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.

Yuldashev lands a right and a left and another right! Schultz goes down! Oh, he's in big, big trouble! 3,4,5,6,7,8... he's up to one knee... 9,10! He can't beat the count - this one is all over!
