Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Pepper Edgar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vinny Martin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Pepper Edgar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Vinny Martin! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Glass and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Martin throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Edgar. A punch combination from Edgar misses. Edgar fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Martin sprawls well initially but Edgar persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Martin is trying to maintain the position but Edgar is very close to passing his half guard. Edgar throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Martin is looking to escape. Edgar trying to control the action but Martin is working from the bottom. Martin is looking to improve his position.
Edgar thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Edgar tries to pass the half guard into mount. Martin knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Edgar clinches up against the cage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Edgar has clasped his hands together around Martin's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Martin is trying to improve his position. Edgar has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Edgar misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Edgar stands up. Martin clinches but Edgar breaks the clinch and Edgar counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Edgar wants to pass the guard but Martin is defending well. Edgar postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Martin to stand up. Edgar circles away from the clinch attempt.
Martin pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Edgar. Martin fails in his attempt to clinch. Martin tries to clinch but Edgar moves away and Edgar holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Edgar wants to get back to striking at distance but Martin won't allow it.
Martin lands an elbow just above Edgar 's eye. Martin lands a body shot. Edgar is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Martin pushes Edgar back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Edgar keeps control of Martin as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Martin has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Edgar avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Martin gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Edgar.
With the two fighters working up against the cage, Martin just misses with a elbow thrown towards Edgar's brow. Martin tries to pull guard but Edgar won't allow it.
Edgar jumps guard and drags Martin to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Martin trying to control the position from guard on top but Edgar is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Edgar will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Edgar wants to stand and escape but Martin is having none of it. Edgar controls Martin momentarily but Martin frees himself. Martin wants to stand but Edgar has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Edgar thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Edgar controlling the position. Edgar trying to keep a closed guard but Martin is proving a slippery customer.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Martin wants to clinch. Martin tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Edgar counters with a nice double leg into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Edgar stopping the sweep attempt from Martin. Martin trying to keep a closed guard but Edgar is proving a slippery customer.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Edgar gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Martin scores with a jab to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Pepper Edgar dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

The fight stays on the outside here - Martin looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Martin tries to close the distance and clinch up but Edgar swats him away and circles back towards the center. Edgar shoots for a takedown but Martin saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Martin won't allow Edgar to pass to mount. Edgar stands up and beckons Martin to join him on the feet. Martin tries to clinch up and Edgar counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Edgar. Martin keeping moving, preventing Edgar from controlling successfully. Martin tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Edgar slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Edgar tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Edgar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Edgar working away. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Edgar remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Martin is not content to let Edgar control the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Edgar thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Edgar decides to take the fight back to the feet. Martin tries to clinch there but Edgar circles away.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A kick lands to the mid section there for Martin. Edgar keeps the fight on the outside. Edgar pushes Martin away with a front kick. Martin thuds his shin into the meat of Edgar's side. A head kick misses from Martin. Pepper Edgar dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Edgar clinches but Martin breaks the clinch and Martin counters with a nice kick to the body. Edgar closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Martin to the mat! Martin manages to get full guard. Martin wants to get back to his feet but Edgar is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Martin trying to control the position here. Edgar is looking to work some ground and pound but Martin has wrist control. Edgar controls from within his opponent's guard. He's pushed Edgar's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Martin explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Martin closes the distance but Edgar moves to the side and Edgar counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Martin wants to get back to full guard. Edgar is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Martin doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Edgar. Pepper Edgar overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Edgar throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Edgar looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Martin is trying to stand up here but Edgar is controlling him well. Edgar is controlling the pace.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Martin wants to clinch. Edgar blocks a head kick by Martin.
Martin throws a wild body kick that Edgar sees coming a mile off. Edgar looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Edgar on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Martin tries to close the distance and clinch but Edgar swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Martin tries to clinch but Edgar is having none of it. Vinny Martin has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Edgar fails with the takedown. Pepper Edgar is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Martin fails with an attempt to clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Pepper Edgar showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Edgar, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
