Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roland Verse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roman Gains!
The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Albert Achterberg and Nard Betker.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verse throws a series of punches but Gains moves out of range.
Gains misses with a kick to the body.
Verse was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Verse cracks Gains with a right hand to the side of the head.
Verse stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Verse wants it to stay on the feet.
Gains misses with a lunging right hand
and Verse counters with a nice kick to the body.
Verse throws a right hand that Gains ducks under and follows up with a left that Gains also avoids with ease.
Gains shoots in looking for a takedown. Verse tries to sprawl out of it but Gains keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Verse manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Gains just misses with a punch to the body.
Verse scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gains has taken the fight to the clinch.

Verse breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Gains uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Verse.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Gains has eaten all the pies!
Verse dips to his left and cracks Gains with an uppercut!

That's one minute gone in the round.
No luck for Gains with that takedown attempt.
Verse swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Roland Verse has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roman Gains.
A nice inside leg kick there by Verse. That's going to slow Gains down.
Gains is looking to clinch but Verse is avoiding it.
Gains takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

Gains is rocked!
Verse knocks out Gains with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Verse before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Verse picks up the big W with a huge KO!
