Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arthur Brade (ranked 5762 p4p, 4507 weight class) and Reed Sherman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed Sherman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Arthur Brade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Reed Sherman!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Richard Clark.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sherman cracks Brade with a right hand to the side of the head.
Sherman misses with a takedown attempt

and Brade counters by clinching up.
Sherman fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Sherman is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Sherman wants a takedown but no success here.
Arthur Brade has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Reed Sherman.
Sherman is looking to break free of the clinch but Brade has double underhooks.
Sherman tries to score a body lock takedown but Brade shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Brade misses with a hook from the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
Brade scores with a shot to the side of Sherman's head.
Sherman has a couple of punches blocked by Brade.

Brade lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Sherman tries for a takedown. No joy.
Brade lands a right hand that snaps the head of Sherman backwards.
Sherman tries for a takedown. No joy.
The referee calls for Brade to work.
Sherman working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.

Brade breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Sherman tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brade sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sherman somewhat.
Brade went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Sherman tries for a takedown but Brade circles away easily
and Brade counters with a stiff right hand.
Sherman shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brade as he avoids it easily.
Brade throws a big counter combination but Sherman scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.
No luck for Sherman with that takedown attempt.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Sherman fails to land the takedown.
Sherman doesn't succeed with the takedown

and Brade counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Brade.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Brade.
Sherman is working for takedown but Brade is calmly controlling the position for now.
Sherman has Brade pressed against the cage.
Brade avoids the elbow strike from Sherman, against the cage.
Brade throws a head punch that misses.
Brade swings wildly with an uppercut but Sherman uses good head movement to avoid it.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Sherman is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Brade gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Arthur Brade dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Sherman tests Brade's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Sherman throws a head kick that half lands.
Sherman throws a head kick but Brade moves out of range.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Brade stuffs the takedown.

Sherman lands a big uppercut and Brade crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Brade looks OK. Sherman waves Brade back to his feet!

Brade is rocked!

That's one minute gone in the round.
Sherman circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Brade tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Sherman wins by KO!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:06 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Reed Sherman!
