The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
An inside leg kick lands from Maica.
Maica rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Nastula moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Nastula steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Maica.
Nastula throws a head kick that misses
and Maica counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Maica connects with a body shot.

and Maica counters with a crisp one two that drops Nastula! Maica thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Nastula to his feet! Nastula is in big trouble!

Nastula is rocked!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Nastula looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Nastula is still on wobbly legs! Can Maica finish him?
Maica lands a body shot.
Nastula seems to have recovered his senses.
Nastula throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Maica's waist but Maica gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Nastula off to one side.
Ja Maica has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Pawel Nastula.

Maica drops Nastula with a beautiful combination! Nastula stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Maica is looking for the KO!
Nastula looks up at the clock. Bad move! Maica lands a right hand from hell, dropping Nastula. Maica pounces and finishes the fight with a flurry of punches and elbows.

A relieved looking Ja Maica thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
