Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pieter De Groot (ranked 4120 p4p, 3997 weight class) and Derrick Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and De Groot is able to avoid easily.
De Groot tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Hill manages to circle out of the way.
Hill darts in trying to clinch
and De Groot makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.

Hill lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
De Groot goes for a double leg but Hill avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hill continues to drive forward.
Hill is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. De Groot is defending well for now.
